We would like to create a MakerSpace in our Media Center for all of the students at SGE. In the MakerSpace, we would like activities that will cultivate independent thinkers and encourage students to take risks. We would offer a variety of activities to meet all of the diverse learning styles. Activities such as Little Bits, Legos, Design challenges, coding such as Bee Bots, art activities as well. The area would be utilized during recess, through collaboration with teachers, as well as incorporated into media lessons. Our hope is to make STEM/STEAM an integral part of each child’s education
