The mission of St. Joseph School-Fullerton is to educate students Pre-K through eighth grade in the Catholic Tradition, and provide a positive environment where every child is challenged to develop their full potential: academically, spiritually, and morally. We are a 2016 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. Currently, we have 539 students enrolled in PreK-4 through 8th grades.
We are in the process of upgrading our school to become more energy-efficient. In the fall, we are completely replaced our lighting fixtures and light bulbs with energy efficient LED lighting. We also started the process of replacing our water fountains with new, energy efficient fountains, but do not have enough money to complete the project.
The contest winnings from BGE will help to continue to finance the water fountain project and provide our students with modern drinking fountains for them to fill water bottles. We do not have air conditioning and during the hot months, students rely on the water fountains to cool down.
