Vonnya Pettigrew – Archbishop Borders School

Vonnya Pettigrew – Archbishop Borders School

Our students came up with a kid-friendly, fun, yet very unique concept that includes toy dinosaurs and a curious caveman who rushes out of his cave to see about the power line that was just knocked down by a dinosaur. As the caveman approached the live wire, the other villagers come out singing the BGE song to warn the caveman not to touch the wire. All of the characters in this production is performed by “finger” people.

This video project was a collaborative production between our third and fourth grade students. The third grade class came up with the creative concept and the fourth grade students assisted them by building their set.

Should our school win the grand prize of $1000, the reward money will be used towards: film or video classes offered once a week to students and instruments and instrument classes offered to students during an After School Club – free for students who receive free or reduced lunch, sliding scale fee based on income.
